We flew to NAMM 2025 - like... we actually flew!

The NAMM Show 2025 in Anaheim, CA was the first public event we attended, and we brought some friends. What a trip it was!

The NAMM Show 2025 in Anaheim, CA was the first public event we attended, and we brought some friends.

I invited a handful of music industry pros that I consider friends and picked them up on our way from Florida to the West Coast. We stopped in Texas for a demo of the DOLBY Atmos studio I had built in 2024, and we had a friendly forum discussion about the Status Quo of AI in PROFESSIONAL music production today, and where this main technological development may go.

AI is here to stay, and just like digital audio processing was seen as some kind of evil by many, when it first came out, AI is seeing a lot of push-back from professional creators and pro audio manufacturers alike. 

But... what if AI didn't suck for professionals and for the legacy brands of this industry? How would that look and feel? Is there a way to use the technology while still being true to your heritage?
